I, Richard Leroy Young II, was born on April 28, 1979 and I passed away on November 27, 2022. The best years for me was when I was in the Navy. I'm a father of 2 beautiful children, Kent and Emma and an uncle of 4 to Jeanne Tappe, Victoria Tappe, John Tappe, and Kallista Stubblefield, and when around them I loved to have fun and joke. I'm a little brother to my sister, Eunice (Pixie) Fields and the son of Sondra Dunn. Even though I have traveled the seas around the world, I couldn't shake my heroin habit. That is why I'm here. What I did with friends and in secret cost me my life. I am joined now with -my wife, Justine Kohler Young, who shared in my struggle and died as I did - my nephew, Hank Tappe as well as all the others who have gone before me. I am just another face of this heroin epidemic that claims victims everyday.

My final words to all who are reading this, please get help for yourself and your loved ones. Never stop fighting for sobriety.
