Richard Voyles, 61 of Lonedell passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at his home. Mr. Voyles, son, of the late Douglas W. Voyles and wife Viola nee Koontz was born May 14, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri. Richard worked as carpenter installing shelving, carpet and fixtures for many well-known retail stores. His skill as a carpenter was needed throughout many different states to help new stores open for business. Mr. Voyles was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Viola Voyles and one brother, Kenneth Voyles. He is survived by his sister, Tisha Thompson and husband Tom of Robertsville; special nephew and friend, Gerald Mason of Lonedell; two nieces, Melissa London and husband Ian of Wood River, IL and Christal Richardson and partner Randy Thiesman of Union; close friends, Edward and Bonnie Williams of Roswell, New Mexico; other nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
