Richard Henry Sullivan passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the age of 79.  He was born  on November 23, 1942, the fourth of five children to Thomas E. and Mae (Kinney) Sullivan in Kearny, NJ.  Richard is survived by his wife of sixty years, Fernanda,  three children, Deborah Andrews (Rick), Richard A., and Maureen Davis (LaZall Tolliver), six grandchildren, Kendall, Caitlin, Spencer, Danielle, James, and Henry, and eight great grandchildren.

Richard graduated from North Arlington High School in 1960, and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University.  In 1962, he began a lifetime career in the moving and storage business as a typist for United Van Lines transferring to the St. Louis area in 1969.  He co-owned Des Moines Transfer and Storage from 1973 to 1978,  after which he returned to work at United Van Lines World Headquarters, Fenton, MO, retiring in 2003.  He resided in Union, Missouri forty two years until his death.
