Richard Shebish, Sr., 54 of Villa Ridge passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at his home. Mr. Shebish, son of James Shebish and wife Carolyn nee Mowell was born August 12, 1960 in East Chicago, Indiana. On May 8, 1982 he was united in marriage to Julie Stadnik in East Chicago, Indiana. He managed the Floor Trader store in Florissant, Missouri for six years. Friends and family could say he was a good man with a gentle soul and known for his patience. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. Mr. Shebish was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, John, Sr. and Jewell Stadnik. He is survived by his wife, Julie Shebish of Villa Ridge; one son, Richard Shebish, Jr. of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Allison Shebish of Springfield, Missouri; his parents, James and Carolyn Shebish of Portage, Indiana; two brothers, Jim Shebish of New Lenox, Illinois and Ronald Shebish and wife Susan of Portage, Indiana; one sister, Joyce Shebish of Fort Wayne, Indiana; aunts; nieces; one nephew; other relatives and many friends.
