Richard "Dick" Malady of Union, Missouri, was born March 26, 1981, in St. Louis, Missouri; the son of Rodney Malady, Sr. and Barbara (Drennan) Boyland. Dick passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the age of 44 years.

Dick was united in marriage to Raynbow (Chambers) on New Year's Eve in 2018, and the couple shared fifteen years together. He loved riding his motorcycle, reading, and studying the history of Norse mythology.

Dick was preceded in death by two siblings, Jimmy Forbus and Dawn Floyd.

He is survived by his wife, Raynbow Malady, of Union; his parents, Barbara Boyland and husband Dave, of Sullivan, and Rodney Malady, Sr. and wife Linda, of St. Louis; four children, Peyton Malady, of Sullivan, Raynee Malady, of Union, Gavin Gist, of Washington, and Quentin Gist and wife Maureen, of Washington; three grandchildren, Reese, Reagan, and Ramona Gist; six siblings, Rodney Malady, Jr., of St. Louis, Ashley Harbison and husband Dave, of Belleville, Illinois, Jacob Forbus, of Valley Park, Mike Schaeffer, of St. Louis, Mark Schaeffer, of St. Louis, and Phillip Boyland, of Potosi; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
