Richard A. Baird, 77, of Union, previously of Pacific, passed away, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Sunset Health Care Center.

On June 14, 1944, Richard was born in Pennsylvania.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He owned and operated Route 66 Flea Market in Pacific for over 10 years.

Richard lived a simple life enjoying football games and operating his flea market.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Baird; his parents; one brother, Johnny Baird.

Richard is survived by one son, Patrick Baird and wife Jean of Union; three step-sons, Brad Hedgecorth of Arizona, Mike Hedgecorth of Michigan and Steve Hedgecorth of St. Peters; two step-daughters, Terri Czerniewski and husband Don of Arizona and Monica McKinnon of Sullivan; two grandchildren, Heather Pruessner and husband Bill of Washington and Sara Sheffield and husband Mike of Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
