Rich Forcheimer of St. Clair, MO was born October 18, 1946 in St. Louis, MO; the son of Charles Forcheimer and his wife, Marifrances (Slattery).  Rich passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the age of 77 years.

He received his education from Ladue Horton Watkins High School in St. Louis, before honorably serving in the United States Army until his retirement.  Rich was united in marriage to Doris (Snow) on July 14, 1984 at McConnell AFB in Wichita, KS. He was an active member on the board of directors for Bo's Blessings – LUTHAB; which is a veteran service organization in Springdale, AR. Rich enjoyed taking horseback trail rides, visiting the Navajo Reservation on rug-buying trips with Doris, and attending St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues games.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marifrances and Charles Forcheimer; one sister, Charlot VanHoose; and one stepdaughter, Kelly Nicole Blakemore.

Rich is survived by his wife, Doris Forcheimer of St. Clair; one son, Jason Forcheimer of Wentzville; and daughter, Cheryl Perry and husband Mike of Creve Coeur; six grandchildren: MacKenzie Murray, Jarred Shiftan, Meghan Perry, Murray Forcheimer, Colin Forcheimer, and Kiele Cochran; one great-granddaughter, Malori Boxell; and many other relatives and friends.

Doris wishes to express her gratitude to Rich's caretakers, Kristen Dailey and Liz Jones, for their excellent care and friendship; to Theresa Fryer for her unwavering love and support; to Doris' coworkers for their support; and finally, to the nurses at Mercy Infusion Center for their care and support.
