Raymond Thurman, Sr., 81 of Beaufort passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Fenton.

Mr. Thurman, son of the late William Thurman and wife Lucille nee Russell was born August 21, 1929 in St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Thurman; his wife Yetta Thurman; three brothers, William Thurman, Ralph Thurman and James Thurman.

Mr. Thurman is survived by three sons, Raymond Thurman, Jr. and special friend Mary Wells of Beaufort, Dennis Thurman and wife Brenda of St. Clair and Douglas Thurman of Union; three daughters, Sandra Coach and husband Edward of Elsberry, Donna Ogle and husband Mike of St. Clair and Kimberly Thurman of Union; one brother, Donald Thurman and wife Karen of St. Clair; one sister, Louise Rachal of St. Clair; nine grandchildren, Jamie Thurman, Amy Breitenstein, Brian Strothcamp, Doug Thurman, Britney Thurman, Michael Ogle, Erik Ogle, Jodie Barron and Kody Thurman; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
