Raymond Grubb, 79 of Union passed away Sunday July 21, 2013 in Union.

Mr. Grubb, son of the late Norman Grubb and wife Gladys nee Buckland was born January 22, 1934 in West Virginia. He served his country in the United States Army, receiving a purple heart and honorable discharge.

Mr. Grubb was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Hershel Grubb and Bill Grubb.

He is survived by his wife, Leola Rowden of Union; one son, Raymond B. Grubb II and wife Angela of North Carolina; two daughters, Tricia Rego and husband Jeffery of St. Clair and Kristie Schmidt and husband Gregory of Union; one stepdaughter, Dorothy Mathes and husband Joe; one brother, Norman Grubb and wife Geraldine of South Carolina; two sisters, Lou Mikel and husband David of Arkansas and Ann Hickinbotham of Colorado; several grandchildren, Amanda, Meghan, Jeremy, Joseph Rego of St. Clair, Kenneth Schmidt of Union, Ashley and Raymond B. Grubb III of NC; brothers in-laws and sisters in-laws, Virgil Frick and wife Kay of Texas, James Frick and wife Paula of St. Louis, Linda Brandes of St. Louis, Margie Manhart and husband Charles of Union, Norma Hanneken and husband Carl of Union and Beverly Wilmesher and husband Gary of California, MO; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
