Raymond Dale Bay, 79, of Sullivan passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his home.

Raymond, son of Cecil Bay and wife Lela (Brown) was born February 12, 1943 in St. Clair.

Raymond was a Deacon and member at New Friendship Baptist Church in Gerald.

He received his education and graduated from Sullivan High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was very handy at woodworking and making knives. He loved cooking, canning and gardening.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Bay; mother and stepfather, Lela and Walter Seaton; his first wife, Lola Bay and one brother, Darrel Bay.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Bay of Sullivan; two sons, Greg Bay of Gerald and Kevin Bay of Sullivan; three stepsons, Russell Carson of Imperial, John Carson and wife Jessie of Hazelwood and Terry Carson of St. Clair; six sisters, Anita Seaton and husband Howard of Eldon, Margaret "Peg" Love and husband Ed of Sullivan, Zoe Pierce and husband Clifford of St. Clair, Barbara Komo and husband Dennis of Sullivan. Rhonda Folkerts and husband Louis of St. Clair and Pamela Coffman of Sullivan; sister-in-law, Gloria Von derHaar of St. Clair; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations are appreciated to the New Friendship Baptist Church in Gerald.
