Ralph Carder, 69 of Union passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 in Washington. Mr. Carder, son of the late George Guy Carder and wife Pearl Evelyn nee Forman was born April 26, 1945 at Liberty, Missouri. He worked at the Union Ambulance District as a Paramedic Administrator for many years. He was an Instructor and Mentor for EMT and Paramedic training locally and in St. Louis. Ralph was known for his good cooking, love of NASCAR and photography. He enjoyed taking pictures of his grandchildren, nature and weddings. In his final weeks, Ralph was able to make his dream trip to Alaska and photograph the scenery. He was a member of First Washington United Methodist Church. Mr. Carder was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, George "Bud" Arthur Carder and H. Wayne Carder and one sister, Wilma Mustion He is survived by two daughters, Tammy McNeely and husband John of Columbia and Donna Manns and significant other Randy Willingham of Columbia; two step-daughters, Jennifer Kendall and husband Lucas of Fenton and Jamie Smith of Union; one brother, Robert Carder and wife Margie of Kansas City, MO.; one sister, Mary Latteman of Kansas City, MO.; five grandchildren, Kalyn Manns, Brendan Smith, Nicholas Smith, Jackson Kendall and Olivia Kendall; sister-in-law, Connie Carder of Cameron, MO; ex-wife and loving care giver, Laura Carder of Union; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
