R. Lois Nealis nee Lewis, 101, formerly of Washington passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 in New Haven.

Mrs. Nealis, daughter of the late Willie Lewis and wife Martha nee Bishop was born on April 7, 1916 in Lonedell, Missouri.

On May 17, 1946, she was united in Marriage to Paul L. Nealis Sr. in St. Louis.

Lois was a member of The Ridge Church in Villa Ridge. She was a long time Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir for many church's over the years.

Mrs. Nealis was preceded in death by her husband Paul L. Nealis Sr.; her parents, Willie and Martha Lewis; five siblings, Carl Lewis, Wilma Henry, George William Lewis, Bernadine Carpenter, and Melda West.

She is survived by her son, Paul L. Nealis and wife Barbara of Washington; one grandson, Curt Nealis and wife Krista of Olney, Illinois; three great grandchildren, Abigail Nealis, Alex Nealis and Ayden Nealis; many other nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
