Pierce Edward Glass of Pacific, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of 88 years. He was born April 11, 1937, in Charleston, Missouri; the son of Samuel Glass and his wife, Lillian (Gracy).

Pierce was united in marriage to Norma (Price) on March 9, 1957, in St. Louis, and four children blessed their union. He was employed at AG Grocery for over 25 years before working as an over-the-road truck driver until his retirement from Yellow Freight. He was also a Deacon at Shiloh Baptist Church in Robertsville. Pierce enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. The time he cherished most was the time spent with Norma, their children, and extended family, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pierce was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lillian Glass; one daughter, Trina Irene Glass; four siblings, Leo Glass, Bill Glass, Larry Glass, and Carol Kellison; and one daughter-in-law, Vicki Glass.

He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Glass, of Pacific; three children, Bruce Glass Sr. and special friend Shelly Holdmeyer, of New Haven, Cindy Otten and husband Danny, of Villa Ridge, and Cheryl Glass, of St. Louis; one sister, Anne Dawson, of St. Louis; six grandchildren, Bruce Glass Jr. and wife Lori, Crystal Van Horn and husband Mike, Kristopher Glass and wife Nikki, Dustin Otten and wife Sarah, Kimberly Johnson, and Amanda Glass; twelve great-grandchildren, Kellen, Kole, Elliott, Parker, Morgan, Colt, Kaden, Kyler, Lincoln, Evie, Levi, and Wyatt; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorials in honor of Pierce Glass may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Shiloh Baptist Church in Robertsville.
