Paulette Kay Maynard, 69, of Eureka, MO., passed away on December 16, 2023 at her home after an 18 month battle with cancer.

She was born on July 8, 1954, in Muscatine, IA; the daughter of Wayne and Bonnie (Moomey) Goddard.

On September 21, 1975, she was united in marriage to Daniel Allen Maynard. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed doing genealogy, crocheting, and quilting.

She is loved by her husband, Daniel of Eureka, MO.; her children: Martha (Matt) Ebert and their daughter, Abigail, Meredith (Andrew) Jacobson and their children, Ashton, KayLea, and Hunter all of Janesville WI., and Brian Maynard of Phoenix AZ.; her brothers and sisters: Debra (Dennis) Shannon of Fruitland IA, Bruce (Tammy) Goddard, David Goddard, Kim Hagy (Joel Kruse), all of Muscatine, IA, and Timothy Goddard of Wapello, IA. and many nieces and nephews, other friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Maynard Family would like to thank Mercy Hospice Washington, Mercy Hospital Staff, and the Oncology Department for the care they provided.

Graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Cranston, IA.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Roomy's (102 Center St.  Fruitland, IA).
