Patrick Eldon Littrell, 75, of Union passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at his home.
Mr. Littrell, son of the late Joseph Littrell and wife Loula (Smith) was born August 1, 1943 in Union.
On February 26, 1966 he was united in marriage to Elaine Bock at the First Christian Church in Union.
Patrick served as a Union Missouri Volunteer Firefighter for twenty-four years until his retirement. While fishing on the Gasconade River on July 29, 1978 Patrick saved a drowning man by coming to his aide and later received a Life Saving Award for his swift actions. During his firefighter career he earned many other awards. He was also a 35-year member of the Union Moose Lodge.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Loula Littrell; his daughter, Penny Littrell; three brothers, Grover Littrell, Carlos Littrell and Ernest Littrell and two sisters, Elsie Daughtery and Mary Ellen Littrell.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Littrell of Union; one daughter, Diane Sprock and husband Kenneth "Scott" of Moscow Mills; seven grandchildren, Nichole Littrell, Junior Kaver, Matt Kaver and wife Holly, Dwayne Littrell and wife Dwanna, Tonya Burkhead (Shawn Kalin), Hailey Sprock and fiancé Zach Whitehead and Austin Sprock; nine great-grandchildren, Christian, Ian, Xavian, Kadyan, Cole, Vaden, McKenzie, Maci and Luke; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations to the family are preferred.
