Patricia Jean Woodruff, 90, of Washington, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on July 19, 2026.

Patricia was born on August 9, 1935, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Lee Dixon and Frances Dixon. She was united in marriage to Herbert Woodruff Sr., and together they shared more than 70 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and love.

Patricia worked as a personal bookkeeper for the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, where she faithfully served for many years.

She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Herbert Woodruff Sr. of Washington, Missouri; her son, Herbert Woodruff Jr. of McCutchen, Illinois; her daughter, Terri (Lonnie Valentini) Bird of Washington, Missouri; her sister, Marilyn Bailey of Ohio; her grandchildren, Brian Woodruff, Craig Bird, Nick Woodruff, and Chris Woodruff; and her great-grandchildren, Victoria, Olivia, Gavin, Addison, and Sophie, along with many other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Frances Dixon.

Patricia will be remembered for her quiet devotion to her family, her strong faith, and the kindness she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the generations.

In keeping with Patricia's wishes, cremation has been chosen. No services are planned at this time.
