Patricia Ann Sachs nee Thiem, 74 of Union passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Sachs, daughter of Herman Thiem and wife Stella nee Varner was born April 27, 1941 in Union, Missouri.

On April 12, 1969 she was united in marriage to Walter Sachs at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Union.

She was of the Christian Faith and longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Union.

She served over 28 years at Wal-Mart until her retirement in 2014.  In her spare time she loved sewing, crocheting, reading and traveling.

Mrs. Sachs was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Stella Thiem; infant siblings, Raymond Thiem and Anna Willis; three brothers, James Thiem, Grover Willis and Lawrence Willis and three sisters, Janet Baker, Norma Meyer and Elizabeth Bay.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Sachs of Union; her children, Stella Sachs and fiancé Thomas Swartz of Union, James Sachs and friend Cassie Dingledine of Union and Janet Gebert and ex-husband Mike of Union; two sisters, Jacqueline Swan and husband Guy of O'Fallon and Theresa Weakley of Sullivan; four grandchildren, Elijah Sachs, Courtney Sachs, Justin Gebert and Marshall Gebert; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
