Patricia Marie (Heintz) Gant, 62, of Washington, passed away, Monday, July 25, 2022, at her home in the comforting presence of her loving family.
On February 4, 1960, Patricia was born to the union of Thomas Heintz and JoAnn (Uptegrove) in St. Louis.
Patricia was a graduate from St. Clair High School. She would then move onto Southeast Missouri University where she graduated with her BSN.
She worked within Mercy's Hospital Network for 35 years.
Patricia was united in marriage to Mark Gant on August 24, 1985.
She was a member of the Scleroderma Research Group.
Patricia was a very loving person who enjoyed taking care of others. Patricia was a very talented baker, making the best chocolate chip cookies. She also loved reading and listening to podcasts especially country music podcasts. Most of all Patricia adored her family and friends very much and cherished the moments that she spent with each of them. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Gant; her mother, Joann Uptegrove; sister, Becky Heintz; nephew, Aaron Heintz; brother-in-law, Jerry Powell.
Patricia is survived by her children, Jessica Gant of St. Louis and Jonathan Gant and fiancé Courtney Anderson of Washington; her father, Thomas Heintz Sr. and wife Betty of St. Clair; one brother, Thomas Heintz Jr. and wife Toni of Mokane; two sisters, Kathy Heintz-Powell of Kaiser and Laurie Brown and husband Jeff of Springfield; stepsiblings, Sonora Beeman-Copling and husband Steve, Stan Beeman and fiancé Adrienne and Tracey Lynn Beeman; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations are appreciated to Scleroderma Foundation, American Diabetes or to Donate Life in memory of Patricia.
