Pamela Sue Chitwood, age 75, of Pacific, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 20, 2026.

Pam was born on June 5, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Orville and Eleanor (Schaetzel) Zeman.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Jess Chitwood, who passed away in 2025. Their love and devotion to one another remained constant throughout their lives.

Pam's greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly survived by her sons, Adam (Sara) Chitwood and Justin (Chasity) Chitwood, both of Pacific; her cherished grandchildren, Haylee Chitwood, Silas Chitwood, Chase Krug, and Conner Krug. She was a sister of two brothers and one sister, of whom two survive, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Pam created a warm and loving home for those she loved. She was the matriarch of her family and a devoted Catholic. She enjoyed playing Bunco, gardening, tending to her flowers and plants, and, above all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Pam will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with her family. She now rests in peace, reunited with her beloved husband.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Her cremated remains will be laid to rest beside her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Her family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
