It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Nellie Cook, who went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2025, at the age of 90. Nellie was a woman of unwavering faith, a devoted wife, and a loving mother and grandmother.

Born March 2, 1935, Nellie spent much of her life alongside her cherished husband, Cecil, who preceded her in death.  Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of faith and love, and Nellie's devotion to Cecil was unmatched.

One of Nellie's greatest passions was reading her Bible. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she found great peace and comfort in her devotion. Whether in moments of joy or sorrow, Nellie's faith remained steadfast, and she was always ready to share her wisdom and love with others.

Nellie's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.  We will miss her immensely, but we have peace knowing she is now reunited with Cecil and in the presence of her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Cook; and her parents, Marshall and Frances Payne.

She is survived by two daughters: Janice Klaeger and Debbie Delorenzo; three grandchildren: Robert Klaeger, Christopher Klaeger, and Stephanie Klaeger; great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
