Myrna Kay Blue nee Adams, 74, of Robertsville, Missouri, formerly of New Baden, IL. passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 in Robertsville.

Mrs. Blue, daughter of John Adams and wife Katherine nee Lauer was born February 18, 1937 in Joliet, Illinois.

On August 12, 1961 she was united in marriage to Edward Blue in East St. Louis, Illinois.

She was a grade school music teacher for forty years. Throughout her career she taught at St. Louis and Illinois public schools until her retirement at Shaw School. She was the Conductor for The Belleville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Blue; her parents, John and Katherine Adams.

Mrs. Blue is survived by one son, Brian Blue and wife Patricia of Robertsville, MO; one daughter, Kim Blue and husband Chris Koszalka of Prairie Farm, Wisconsin; one step-daughter, Sandy Dockins and husband Terry of Delaware State; one sister, Paula Cason and husband Larry of Owensville, MO; eight grandchildren, Lola, Pearl, Meghan, Thomas, Timothy, Summer, Lance and Melanie; five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Mariah, Ty, Kaleo, and Kaden; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
