Milton James Luttrell, 88, of Union passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Luttrell, son of William Louis Luttrell and Lilly May (Neal) Blackwell was born December 7, 1930 in Washington.

On June 21, 1951 he was united in marriage to Gloria Lee Bell in Phoenix, Arizona.

As a young man Milton started his military career in the Navy. After four years of service he went on to join the Air Force. He served in the Air Force for twenty-one years until retiring and reaching rank of Master Sergeant. His war-time services included Korea and Vietnam. After his military career he owned and operated Union Auto Supply in Union.

His proudest accomplishment in life was his wife and children.

Mr. Luttrell was preceded in death by his parents, William Louis Luttrell and Lillie May (Neal) Blackwell; his wife Gloria Lee Luttrell; one son David Luttrell and three siblings, George Luttrell, William "Bill" Luttrell and Louella Luttrell.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Luttrell and wife Cindy of Union and Robert Luttrell; three grandchildren, Melissa Spade and husband Aaron of Union, Matthew Luttrell of Union and Laura Matchell and husband Nathan of Union; one great-granddaughter, Kendra Matchell; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Luttrell of Union; best friends, Warren and Laura McClure; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Legion Post 297 in Union are preferred.
