Mildred E. Hayes (Barnhardt), 97, of Arnold, passed away at 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Woodlands at Arnold.

She was born February 5, 1925, in Iberia, Missouri. Mildred enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening and canning. She always opened her home for anyone who wanted to come and visit and rewarded them with her love and hospitality and as wonderful meal.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Walter Hayes; her parents, Adam and Nora (Burlingame) Barnhardt.

Mildred is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Barnes and husband Matthew, Linda Hildreth and husband Randall and Jacqueline Cuppett and husband Daniel. She was a grandmother to 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
