Mildred "Alice" Crecelius, of St. Clair, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the age of 86. The daughter of Harvey and Gertrude (Brumagin) Myeburger, she was born in East Alton, Illinois, on May 17, 1939.  She was united in marriage to Donald Crecelius, in St. Clair, on May 30, 1957.

Alice was employed as a phlebotomist at Mercy Hospital in Washington for over twenty years. She was an active member of the quilters circle at Bethel Baptist Church and in recent years had attended The Ridge Church.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, but most of all loved spending precious time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Gertrude Myeburger; one brother, Clarence "Sonny" Myeburger; four sisters, Luella Mae Myeburger, Opal Crecelius, Ruth Schlemper and Betty Myeburger.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Donald Crecelius; son, Rick Crecelius and wife Kim of St. Clair; daughter, Charlotte Owens and husband Ron of Kansas; four grandchildren, Andrew Wilton, Emily Wilton, Lane Crecelius and Hannah Welty; two great-grandchildren, Cade Crecelius and Cooper Crecelius; one brother, Lawrence Myeburger and wife Linda of Owensville; one sister, Doris Door of Villa Ridge; other relatives and many friends.
