Michael Aaron Woodward, 56, of Bland, passed away, Thursday, November 11, 2021, in Jefferson City.

On March 14, 1965, Michael was born to the union of Richard Woodward and Elaine (Petty) in Columbia, Missouri.

Michael was united in marriage to Deanna (Roark) on February 14, 2015, in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

He was a member of the Zion Evangelical Free Church in Bland.

Michael was very knowledgeable when it came to computers. You could usually find him at his computer. He also enjoyed reading, especially anything that was science-fiction. Most of all, Michael loved spending time with his family and going fishing with his sons.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna Woodward of Bland; two sons, Justin Woodward of O'Fallon and Alex Woodward of Cahokia Heights, IL; stepson, Cody Barnett of Bland; his father, Richard Woodward of Edwardsville, IL; his mother, Elaine Hensley of Troy; two sisters, Pat Davis of Ohio and Tracy Harris and husband Thomas of Florida; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the American Lung Association.
