Michael C. Miller 61 of Union passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at his home. Mr. Miller, son of the late William Miller and wife LeIlle nee McKay was born August 3, 1953 in Union. He received his education in Union graduating in the Class of 1971 from Union High School. As a longtime member of the Moose Lodge in Union. Mr. Miller was a Deputy Sherriff for the Franklin County Sherriff's Department during the 1970's and 1980's and also served as Deputy Sherriff for Gerald and Lake St. Louis. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, William and LeIlle Miller and two brothers, John Miller and William Miller. He is survived by his son, Rob Miller and wife Moira of St. Charles; his daughter, Margaret Miller of Union; two sisters, Leta Carroll and husband Armel of Union and Roma Montgomery of Arizona; two granddaughters, Natalie Bestman and Emilia Miller; his ex-wife, Georgia Miller of Union; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great- nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
