Michael "Mike" McGee, 69, of Villa Ridge passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 in Creve Coeur.

Mike, son of Bobby McGee and Peggy (Finley) was born January 22, 1952 in St. Louis.

On August 30, 1985 he was united in marriage to Johnna Murphy in Augusta.

Mike worked at WEG Transformer in Washington since 2007 where he became a member of the Local IUE-CWA.

Mike was known as being a grocery store shopping enthusiast. He loved cooking, barbecuing, drinking all while spending time with friends and family. As an avid reader he enjoyed taking on a good book.

He was a proud member of the Hummingbird Club in Washington for nineteen years.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby McGee and Peggy Walck and one sister, Julie Cregar.

He is survived by his wife, Johnna McGee of Villa Ridge; two daughters, Shawna McGee of Union and Kristen McGee of Villa Ridge; five siblings, Robert McGee and wife Loretta of Washington, Dennis McGee and wife Linda of California State, Rhonda Basye and husband Chuck of Rocheport, MO, Paul Pugh and wife Cheryl of California State and Joel Pugh and wife Robin of California State; three stepchildren, Stephanie, Wendy and Gilbert; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Union Food Pantry or Second Blessings Food Pantry are preferred.
