Michael Louis Humphrey, 40, of Owensville, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.

Michael was born in Rolla on May 8, 1982, to Michael R Humphrey and Margaret Ryerson.

Michael loved to spend his time listening to music, playing games with his son, watching "professional wrestling" programs, fishing, and spending time on the family farm. Of Christian faith, Michael also greatly enjoyed attending church and inviting others to join him. More than anything though, he loved and cherished the time he got to spend with his son and family, and always presented them with a big hug and grin every time he saw them. Michael will forever be known and cherished for his big heart, and incredibly missed by all that knew him.

Michael is survived by his parents, Michael R. and Wanda (Miller) Humphrey of Owensville; his mother, Margaret Ryerson of Rolla; one son, Cooper Sarchette of Belle; three brothers, Wayne Rumage and wife Eva of Canada, John Humphrey and wife Kara of Sullivan, John Wilson and wife Shelline of Belle; two sisters, Kathy Murphy and husband Mike of Vichy, Lisa Brenton of Vichy; four nephews, Jeremy R., Jeremy H., Matthew and Jacob; three nieces, Brooke, Morgan, and Kaitlyn; great nephews, Daniel and Joseph; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends.
