Rev. Michael John Garn, of High Ridge, MO passed away suddenly on April 14, 2026, at the age of 65.  He was born on November 6, 1960, to Ivan and Phyllis (Keesecker) Garn in Oregon, Ohio.

While attending Midwestern Baptist College, he married Miss Kelly Jean Shaw on June 18,1988, he then graduated in 1990.  This union was blessed by two boys.  He was a man of deep faith, always serving others.  He was the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Overland, MO and was employed at the Missouri Baptist Children's Home in Bridgeton, MO.  He found his work fulfilling and loved serving the Lord, his one true passion. He was an avid deer hunter, from bow to gun season he was in the woods as much as he possibly could be.

Michael is survived by his wife Kelly (Shaw) Garn of High Ridge, sons; Isaiah (Jennifer) Garn of Union and Zach (Jessica) Garn of St. Clair, proud grandfather of, Kenton, Haven, Harper and a sweet baby boy on the way, brother of  Mary (Jim) Tabbert and Kevin Garn all of Oak Harbor, Ohio, brother-in-law of Bryan (Cindy) Shaw of Virginia, uncle, cousin, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
