Michael Erb of Owensville, Missouri, passed away at his home in the presence of his family, on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the age of 59. Michael was born to the union of Karl M. Erb and Patricia (Manly) Erb on August 2, 1964 in Washington, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Carol Drusch in Union, Missouri in 1994.

Michael was an avid fisherman, with his proudest catch being a crappie caught in a Franklin County lake that tied the state record at 4 lb. 10 oz.  He enjoyed shooting matches, pitching horseshoes, playing pool, watching WWF wrestling, and riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl M. and Patricia Erb; and one brother, Karl A. Erb.

Michael is survived by his wife, Carol Erb; two sons: Mike Abbott and fiancé' Brenna Angell of Gerald, and Jefrey Abbott and wife Lacey of Vienna; one sister, Debbie Race and husband David of Illinois; three grandchildren: Gabrial Weed, Jerome Abbott and Peyton Abbott; other relatives and many friends.
