Megan Anne Elizabeth Willoughby nee Piper, 33 of Salem passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Willoughby, daughter of Bill Sanson and wife Cheryl nee Piper was born July 28, 1980 in Ottumwa, Iowa. On November 24, 2009 she was united in marriage to Robert Willoughby in Union. She received her schooling at Pacific High School and graduated in the Class of 1998. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, camping at Meramec Springs and frequenting yard sales. She had an art for making crafts and recently ventured into crafts using pink camo. She treasured her nieces and nephews as they were a big part of her life. Megan was preceded in death by her grandmother, Charlotte Piper; great-grandparents, Margarett and Elmer Cline; great-great-grandmother, Margarett Conley; one aunt, Beverly Freeman and two uncles, Jerry Postlewaite and Tim Hopwood. She is survived by her husband, Robert Willoughby of Salem; her parents, Bill and Cheryl Sanson of Villa Ridge; four sisters, Amber Sanson-Reed and husband Cody of Villa Ridge, Christy Clark and fiancé Mike Dennings of Villa Ridge, Mandy Longgrear and husband Joel of Villa Ridge and Kaylyn Steele of California State; one brother, Tim Sanson and wife Megan of St. Clair; grandparents, Clyde and Barb Piper of Iowa; nieces, Brooklyn Daines, Kaydance Sanson-Reed and numerous other nieces and nephews; five aunts, Crystal Hopwood of Iowa, Chris Smith of Iowa, Charlene McCoy of Iowa, Melonie Nance and husband Dennis of Washington and Ladonna Steffens and husband Frank of Washington; one uncle, Paul Wayne Pryor of Tennessee; brother-in-law, Eric Willoughby and wife Jennifer of Houston, MO; numerous cousins; other relatives and many friends.
