Matthew B. Witt, 48, of Union, passed away, Friday, December 30, 2022.

On March 31, 1974, Matthew was born to the union of Mark Witt and Christina (Oshia) in San Diego, California.

Matthew grew up in Sullivan and graduated from Sullivan High School in 1992.  Matt later obtained his degree in Computer Science.  Matthew married the love of his life Tina (Hosfeld) on September 17, 2005 in New Haven.  Together they had a daughter, Jillian Witt, his pride and joy.  Matthew always made sure his girls were happy and taken care of.

Matthew was employed by Wallis Companies for 10 years as a Supply Chain Manager.  During this time, he grew strong connections with colleagues and business contacts.

Matthew was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed target shooting.  Most of all Matthew loved spending time with his friends and family.  He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.  His big smile and positive, loving attitude will be remembered by all.

Matthew was preceded in death by his stepson, Tyler Manson; Paternal Grandfather, Samuel Witt; Maternal Grandparents, James Oshia, Joan Oshia and Louise Oshia.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Tina Witt of Union; his daughter, Jillian Witt of Union; Father, Mark Witt of Camdenton; Mother, Christina Oshia of Sullivan; Sister, Jessica Happel and fiancé Shane Blankenship of Sullivan; Nephews, Ryan Happel, Jason Blankenship, Justin Blankenship; other relatives and friends.
