Mary Lee Oswalt, of St. Clair, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the age of 76. She was born in St. Clair on June 25, 1947 to the union of Daniel Jones, Sr. and Myrtle (Gray) Jones.

Mary was known for her sense of humor and having a sweet tooth. She was always up for a game of cards and enjoyed playing bingo. In her spare time she worked her wonders in the garden and raising beautiful flowers as well as crafting, painting, drawing and crocheting. She had a love for nature and spending time on the river while fishing, but her greatest love was that of spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Jones, Sr. and Myrtle Jones; two brothers, Daniel Jones, Jr. and Tex Jones; three sisters, Annie Becky Rice, Cheacketa Rice and Cherry Jones.

Mary is survived by one son, Barry Oswalt of St. Clair; one daughter, Crystel Oswalt of St. Clair; one brother, Martin Jones of St. Clair; two sisters, Pauline Taylor (Don Elkins) of Union and April Eads of St. Clair; three grandchildren: Jessica (Adam) Peifer, Austin Nugent and Karry Oswalt; two great grandchildren: David Peifer and Bellamy Peifer; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
