Mary Heimann (nee Hecktor) of Washington, MO was born September 15, 1936 in Evansville, IL.; the daughter of Edwin Hecktor and his wife, Adella (Jany).  Mary passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the age of 87 years.

Mary was united in marriage to Louis Heimann on October 21, 1961 at St. Gertrude's Church in Krakow, MO and five children blessed their union.  She devoted her life to being a homemaker and taking care of her loved ones.  Mary loved quilting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Adella Hecktor; two children: Denise Heimann and Robert Heimann; one brother, Melvin Hecktor; and one sister, Pat Gildehaus.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Louis Heimann of Washington; one son, Douglas Heimann of Washington; two daughters: Julie Boyd and husband Larry of Union, and Tracy Cox and husband Kevin of FL.; one brother, Paul (Sue) Hecktor of Concord Hill; six sisters: Gladys Menke of FL., Wilma Ridder of Union, Theresa (Elvin) Gildehaus of Washington, Alice Brinker of Washington, Doris (Dennis) Schmitt of Washington, and Linda (Andy) Voss of Washington; six grandchildren: Mitchell Heimann, Melanie (Devon) McNew, Cody Boyd, Lauren Boyd, Caleb Johnson, and Connor Johnson; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Donations in honor of Mary Heimann can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
