Mary Fischer of Union, MO passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the age of 82 years.

She was born January 2, 1942, in Washington, MO; the daughter of Evar Jensen and his wife Mary (Scharfenberg). She was united in marriage to Fritz Fischer on May 29, 1971, in Union and they were blessed with four children. Mary enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, and fishing. She was a loving mother with a kind heart, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Evar and Mary Jensen; her husband, Fritz Fischer Jr.; and one brother, Walter Jensen.

She is survived by three sons: William Fischer of Owensville, Walter Fischer and wife Renee of Leslie, and Robert Fischer and wife Sonia of Beaufort; one daughter, Mary Miller and husband Marty of Union; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mavis Huff and husband Eddie of Gray Summit; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Memorials in honor of Mary Fischer can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
