Marvin W. Moore, 73, of Washington, passed away at Grandview Healthcare Center in Washington, on Monday, January 1. 2024. Marvin, son of Marvin Moore and wife Dora (Stephans) Moore was born on July 15, 1950, in St Louis.

He spent his career as controller for St. Louis area firms. His spare time provided him with the opportunity to fish and swim in the family lake, as well as riding four wheelers. As an expert barbecue chef, many of his family and friends were able to sample his delicious entrees.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Moore and Dora Moore.

He is survived by two sons, Daniel Moore and wife Amy of Troy, William Moore of Washington; one daughter, Carrie Mosley and husband Chris of St. Louis; one sister, Clarissa Wadlow and husband Bob of Wentzville; five grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Andrew Moore, Ellie Moore, Thomas Mosley and Benjamin Mosley; other relatives and many friends.
