October 17, 1943 – June 29, 2024
Marvin L. Schuler of St. Clair, MO passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the age of 80 years old. Marvin worked as a store manager for National Foods for more than 40 years. He had fun going to auctions, the flea market, and antiquing. Marv loved the St. Louis Cardinals and was a gifted artist. He had a gift for bringing joy to everyone he met. Marv was beloved by all who knew him and always put a smile on everyone's face. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Bernice Schuler; and two siblings: William (Rose) Schuler and Wayne Schuler.
Marv is the beloved husband of Barbara Schuler of 40 years; father of son, Scott (Mayen) Schuler, and daughter, Angie (Terry) Rebura; cherished grandfather of Sonia Schuler, Jonathan (Danielle) Schuler, Joshua (Kaitlyn) Schuler, Mason Proffitt, and Terry Whitman III; treasured great-grandfather of Cameron, Cayden, Hadley, Madelyn, Alivia, and Kennedy; dear brother of Rose (Tom) Welker, Michael (Doris) Schuler, JoAnn (Dave) Arthur, and Barb (Brad) Agne; one sister-in-law, Debbie Schuler; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Meramec State Park (Shelter 1) in Sullivan, MO 63080. Bring pictures and stories to celebrate Marv's life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Stray Rescue of St. Louis (strayrescue.org), Halo for Animals in Sullivan (haloforanimals.com) or Randy's Rescue Ranch in O'Fallon, IL (randysrescueranch.org).
