Martha West nee Lewis of St. Clair passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in St. Clair.

Mrs. West, daughter of the late William Lewis and wife Martha nee Bishop was born September 25, 1924 in St. Clair.

She was united in marriage to Edward West III in February of 1945 in St. Clair.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Lewis; her husband, Edward West III; two brothers, Carl Lewis and George Lewis; one sister, Wilma Henry.

Mrs. West is survived by one son, Edward West IV and wife Linda of Lexington, Kentucky; two sisters, Lois Nealis of Washington and Bernadene Carpenter of St. Clair; two grandchildren, Elizabeth West and Christopher West; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
