Marla Green, nee Browning, 62 of Union passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Green, daughter of Enos Browning and wife Eileen nee Morningstar was born August 19, 1950 in Cairo, Illinois.

On November 9, 1968 she was united in marriage to Richard Green in St. Clair County, Illinois.

Marla was a talented artist designing paintings, decorating and crafts. She performed throughout the country as a singer with the Browning Family Gospel Singers based out of Southern Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Enos and Eileen Browning and one sister, Janet Parish.

Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, Richard Green of Union; her daughter, Myla Ashby and husband Scott of St. Clair; one sister, Brenda Stephens and husband John of Moore, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Ashby and Lauren Ashby; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
