Mark Bentch, 65, of Gerald passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Washington.

Mark, son of Cleo Bentch and wife Joanne (Wing) was born August 30, 1956 in Richmond, California.

Mark worked at Baxter Gardens of Chesterfield until his medical retirement in 2021. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of Tea Lakes wildlife preserve and conservation area for many years.

Mark was known as a true dog lover. Over the years he treated his dogs as if they were his own kids.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Joanne Bentch and father-in-law, Robert Pitezel.

He is survived by his significant other of 43 plus years, Brenda Pitezel of Gerald; two sisters, Susan Foster and husband Bill and Karen Jones; mother-in-law, Judy Pitezel; two sisters-in-law, Beth Pitezel and Debbie Lalla and husband Steve; dear friend, Janet "Buck" Bruno; two nephews, Adam Jones and Andy Foster; four nieces, Rebecca Reeves, Sarah Carr and husband David, Stephanie Lalla and Katie Lalla; special co-workers; other relatives and many friends.
