Lyle Ray Barton, 81, of Gerald passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in Gerald.

Lyle, son of Charles Barton and wife Helen (Grebe) was born July 5, 1940 in St. Louis.

On January 25, 1973 he was united in marriage to Sandra in St. Louis.

He served his country in the United States Army receiving an honorable discharge.

Lyle worked as a store manager at Schnucks Supermarket where he retired later in life.

He loved any type of fishing and could give any reason to take a fishing trip.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Barton; his wife, Sandra Barton and his daughter, Vicki Vancil.

He is survived by four children, Connie Nicely and husband Rick, Kim Mueller and husband Rick, Theresa Pona and husband Keith and Kerri Stilwell; three brothers, Bobby Barton and wife Dee, Albert Barton and wife Cheryl and Lloyd Barton; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
