Luther L. Miller, Sr., of Robertsville, Missouri, passed away in Washington, Missouri, on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the age of 85 years. He was born in Putnam County, Illinois, to the union of Chester and Mildred (Elgin) Miller, on February 20, 1939.

Luther was a member of the Heart of Worship Community Church in Catawissa. He will be remembered for his love to travel, wherever he could drive and always on the spur of the moment. He was a tinkerer, jack-of-all-trades, collector of all things and had a fondness for working on engines, no matter what type or size or what it was in.

He was preceded in death by Dorothy Randall; wife, Marilyn (Cockerham) Miller; mother, Mildred Miller; father and stepmother, Chester and Frances (Songer) Miller; one daughter, Louanne Brown; one son, David Miller; two brothers, Tom Miller and Don Miller.

Luther is survived by three sons: Luther Miller, Jr and wife Michelle of Robertsville, Bradley Miller of Illinois, Jerry Brown and wife Regina of Illinois; one daughter, Vicky Miller of Illinois; four stepchildren: Missy Hensley, Tina Hensley, Brian Hensley, and Doug Hensley, all of Illinois; 11
grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 26 step-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 at Henry Cemetery in Henry, IL.   A Celebration of Life will follow at the American Legion in Henry, IL.
