Luther Ray Ira Burns, 44, of Cuba passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Burns, son of Bruce Burns and Anna Mae Padgett was born January 5, 1972 in Sullivan.

Luther enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting and mechanic work.

Mr. Burns was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Burns and wife Sondra; grandparents, Luther and Mary Burns and William Ray Padgett and his aunt, Rita Burns.

He is survived by his daughter, Felicia Downey of St. Clair; his mother, Anna Mae Sell of Gravois Mills; his fiancé, Sandra Hall of Cuba; four brothers, Bruce "Frankie" Burns of Union, Chris Burns and fiancé Pam Warren of Union, David Doolin of St. Joseph and Michael Strubberg; one sister, Anita Meyer of Gerald; grandmother, Shirley Eckenfels and husband August of Stover; aunts; uncle; nieces; nephew; other relatives and many many many friends.
