Lucille Washburn nee Head, 85 of St. Clair passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009 in Washington.

Mrs. Washburn, daughter of the late Thomas Head and wife Albirta nee Gray was born May 11, 1923 in Richwoods, Missouri.

On December 2, 1940 she was united in marriage to Paul Washburn in St. Clair, Missouri.

Mrs. Washburn was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Albirta Head; her husband, Paul Washburn; three sons, Doris Washburn, Pauly Washburn and Tommy Washburn; one great-granddaughter, Alanta Tharp; 2 sisters and five brothers.

She is survived by one sister, Jessie Ziegler of St. Clair; nine grandchildren, Pauly Washburn Jr. and fiancé Tammy Turner of Salem, MO, Tammy Heard and husband Gary of Salem, MO., Dusty Washburn and fiancé Wade Halbrook of Bellflower, MO., Sherry Hays and fiancé Joe Rhyno of Licking, MO., Terri Nettles and husband Steve of Fulton, MO., Annie Robinson and husband Lee of Moberly, MO., Nealy Washburn and wife Carol of Phoenix, AZ., Doris Washburn of Granite City, IL. and Renee Washburn of Phoenix, AZ; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
