Lowell Heare, 75 of Gerald passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 in Owensville. Mr. Heare, son of the late Roy and Gladys Heare was born June 19, 1940 in Kirby West Virginia. He received his education and graduated from Moorefield High School in Moorefield, West Virginia. On August 20, 1960 he was united in marriage to Loretta Link in Cumberland, Maryland. He worked as an over the road truck driver until his retirement then took up farming raising cattle and hogs. Mr. Heare was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Gladys Heare; one brother, Ralph Heare and one sister, Retha Heare. He is survived by his wife Loretta Heare of Gerald; two sons, Marshall Heare and wife Margaret of St. Peters and William Wilson Jr. and wife Barbara of San Antonia, TX; two daughters, Pamela Bollmann and husband Scott of Villa Ridge and Brenda Anderson and husband Mike of Gore, VA; one brother, Royce Heare and wife Debby of Petersburg, FL; three sisters, Bonnie Loy of Delplane, VA, Myrna Snider and husband Henry of Stephens City, VA and Nilah Jane Hieshman and husband Eugene of Romney, West Virginia; grandchildren, Michael Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Kimberly Wilson, Melissa Anderson, Michael Anderson Jr., Alex Bollmann, Olivia Bollmann; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
