Obituary

Louri Ann Turner, 57, of Villa Ridge, passed away at her residence on Saturday, August 29, 2026. She was born in St Louis, on June 18, 1969, to the union of Richard Dale Turner, Sr. and Mary (Morlan) Babb.

Louri’s friends and family remember her light and friendly nature. Her best moments were filled with friends and family, and those moments are what got her through the final years when she could no longer do all the things she enjoyed. Home always had a pet, and the front door was always open. She was empathetic and made sure everyone was always taken care of. She loved to go through the pictures, filling her phone and reminiscing the memories that filled her with joy. She always liked to be in the know.

Family filled her with happiness. She loved spending time outside, watching her grandbabies grow up, and watching her Forensics and Murder mysteries

Her family grew through the years with additions of Aunts, Uncles and Grandma's and sisters that became the village of support everyone needed. Her friend, Dawn Dodson, filled a role of caretaker and best friend for several years helping her maintain the independence she valued so much.

Her grandson Colten left a huge hole that could only be eased by the family's newest addition named Colten in remembrance of his cousin. Facetime kept her connected and she loved to just sit and laugh watching him play.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Dale Turner, Sr. and Mary Jane Babb; Stepparents, Maxine Babb, and Elmer Daniel Babb; one grandson, Colten Busiek, and sister-in-law Donna Turner (Rickie Turner)./

Louri is survived by sons, Joshua Crouse (Jeff Crouse) of Texas, Nicholas Trum of Arizona, Gage Dodson of St Louis; daughters, Lauren Hopperton (Luke Sims) of St Clair, Cheyenne Dodson of St Louis; grandchildren, Syvella, Everleigh, Colten, Ryder; brothers, Rickie Turner of Desoto, Richard Turner, Jr. of St Clair; nieces; nephews; cousins and many special friends that are too numerous to list individually.
