Loretta Elaine (Link) Heare, 86 of St. Peters, passed away, Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at St. Peter's Manor.

On December 20, 1935, Elaine was born to the union of Walter Link and Annie (Conrad) in Rio, West Virginia.

Elaine was united in marriage to her late husband, Lowell D. Heare, on August 20, 1960, in Cumberland, Maryland. They shared 55 years of marriage until Lowell's death in 2015.

She was homemaker and loved taking care of her beautiful family. Along with being a loving mother, she enjoyed gardening and caring for others. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends, which was most important to her.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Annie Link; her husband, Lowell D. Heare; two brothers and their wives, Gene (Deloris) Link and Henry (Betty) Link; one sister and her husband, Norma (Stanley) Combs.

She is survived by two sons, Marshall Heare and wife Margaret of St. Peter's and William Wilson Jr and wife Barbara of Texas; two daughters, Pamela Bollmann and husband Scott of Villa Ridge and Brenda Anderson and husband Michael of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Melissa Anderson of Virginia, Michael Anderson and wife Stacey of West Virginia, Michael Wilson of Tennessee, Christopher Wilson of Arkansas, Kimberley Wilson of Texas, Alex Bollmann and wife Jackie of Washington and Olivia Bollmann and fiancé Jake Tuter of Pacific; seven great-grandchildren, Lacey Dennis, Wyatt Anderson, Eli Bollmann, Zoe Bollmann, Bryce Anderson, Brandt Anderson and Bryleigh Anderson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to the American Cancer Society in memory of Loretta Elaine Heare.
