Lois Marlene Ouellette, 78, of Villa Ridge passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 in Pacific.

Mrs. Ouellette, daughter of the late Melvin Garland and wife Margaret nee Mulberry was born May 26, 1938 in Buffalo, Missouri.

On May 4, 1989, she was united in marriage to Joseph Ouellette in Pacific.

She worked as a nurse at St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington for forty-four years until her retirement.

She was an avid fisherman and was well known for out fishing you.  She enjoyed her church music and having a blast dancing with Joe.  Most of all she was a loving, caring and giving individual.

She was an individual with faith and dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Villa Ridge for over twenty years.

Mrs. Ouellette was preceded in death by parents, Melvin and Margaret Garland; son, Paul McGraw; two brothers, William Garland and Jerry Garland and two sisters, Wealthea Jane Pehle and Jewell Bacon.

She is survived by husband, Joseph Ouellette of Villa Ridge; one daughter, Lois Sibert and husband Kenny of Lebanon; brother, James Garland and wife Pat of Indiana; sister, Janice Bacon of Union; step children, Steve Ouellette and wife Jean of St. Louis, Debbie Withington and husband Jeff of Leasburg, Sherry Chapman and husband Donnie of St. Clair, Mary Ouellette (Rich McDaniel) of Pacific, Wende Ouellette (Mike Petzold) of St. Clair, Melvin Ouellette and wife Cindy of Pacific and Stacey Ouellette (Brad McIntyre) of Villa Ridge; three grandchildren, Jamie McGraw Mullaney and husband Kevin, Anie McGraw Cooper and husband Brent both of California and Joshua Robins and wife Stefanie of St. Clair; great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; numerous step-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
