Lloyd "Bob"  R. Johnson, 77, of Union passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Johnson, son of the late Jack Johnson and wife Fern nee Wildman was born March 25, 1940 in Shoals, Indiana.

On April 2, 1977, he was united in marriage to Virginia Wagner in St. Clair.

Bob was of the Christian Faith and member of the Christ Chapel Church in St. Clair.  He was a member of the United Auto Workers and worked at Chrysler in Fenton until his retirement in 1991.

He enjoyed having breakfast and coffee with his friends at the St. Clair McDonalds on a regular basis.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Fern Johnson; one daughter, Janet Johnson and two sisters, Martha Shaul and Shirley Beers.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Johnson of Union; his dog, Misty; two sons, Lloyd Johnson Jr. and wife Becca of Washington and Mike McNail and wife Donna of Beaufort; two sisters, Doris Sipes of Washington, IN and Sandy Gammon and husband Richard of Brownsburg, IN; seven grandchildren, Duane McNail and fiancé Tabetha Korman, Jennifer Bull and husband Ronald Jr., Mandy Dobsch and husband Ronald Jr., Dustin Bizzle and fiancé Nicole Hendrickson, Kyle Johnson, Cinthia Edler and husband Brian and Katherine Salas and husband Juan; twenty great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
