Lisa Ellen
Wright
December 3, 1966 – October 25, 2025
With heavy hearts, the family of Lisa Ellen Klingelberg Wright shares that she passed peacefully on October 25, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Though her time here has ended, the warmth of her presence lingers in every heart she ever touched.
Lisa's greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She devoted herself to raising her own children, and a countless number of their friends who also became her adopted children, guiding them with patience, humor, and a love that never wavered. Her twenty-three grandchildren became her greatest delight; she cherished every giggle, every hug, and every milestone celebrated together. She was blessed as well with four great-grandchildren, each one bringing new joy and wonder into her days.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Neva "Doris" Lee (Boxx) Klingelberg and Albert Carl Klingelberg, one daughter, Rosanna Lynn Borden, one granddaughter Serenity Faith Borden, four brothers and one sister who she loved deeply. The family takes comfort knowing she is reunited with them now, holding them close once again.
Nothing mattered more to her than family. She loved to sit and talk with those she held dear, making sure everyone felt heard, valued, and cared for. Her laughter could brighten even the heaviest days, and her comforting words left the world softer and kinder than she found it.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 34 years Curtis Ira Wright, two of her brothers and eight of her children, Curtis Clabough and wife Jennifer of Illinois, Yvonne Prather and husband James of Illinois, Mary Borden and husband Cornell of Illinois, Liberty Wright of Florida, Jackelyn Sanders and husband Terry of St. Clair, Freedom Wright and wife Juley St. Clair, Susan Wright and husband DJ of Robertsville, and Jacob Raider of Illinois, who will forever carry the memory of a woman whose heart was always open and whose care never faded.
She lived a life made meaningful by the bonds she nurtured, the love she gave freely, and the joy she found in simple moments: a story shared, a hand held, a family gathered close. Those who knew her will always remember the sparkle in her eyes and the gentle strength she carried through every season of her life.
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." — A.A. Milne
Her love remains. Her legacy lives on in every memory, every embrace among family, and every life she helped shape. She will be missed beyond words and remembered beyond time.
